Come! descend now
\nand come not only on those who invoke You
\nbecause they have heard of You,
\nbut come also on those who have never known You!<\/p>\n
Come! O Lamp of our body!
\nCome and correct all those who have never understood You;<\/p>\n
Come to all those who fear You,
\nCome and unveil Your hidden treasures,
\nthese treasures kept for our times,<\/p>\n
Come! come and reveal
\nthe Father and the Son’s Holy Countenances;
\nCome and reveal Yourself, Holy Spirit!
\nCome my Friend,
\nfor You are the dazzling Light of our heart,
\nCome from on high
\nand clothe us with Your power and splendour;<\/p>\n
Come and lodge inside us
\nand make out of Your Dwelling,
\na place of prayer,
\nfor You are the Constant Prayer;<\/p>\n
See how naked we are now without You?
\nCome and shine Your Light in this darkness;
\nYou are The Promise, You are our Love,
\nYou are our Light,
\nYes! You are The Promise!<\/p>\n
You are the One of whom Scriptures say: You are our Pledge of our inheritance, O Visitor of our soul,
\n“It will never be night again
\nand they will not need lamplight or sunlight,

\nHoly be Your Name and Blessed;
\nYou are the priceless and inestimable pearl;
\nYou are the radiance of our soul,
\nYou are The Banquet and our festivity,
\nYou are the Irresistible Companion of our life,
\nYou are the Throne of the poor in spirit,
\nYou are the Kingdom of kingdoms, the Empire of the empires,<\/p>\n
